Maaza 29 to Raise Funds for Local PWC Schools Lunch Debt

Maaza 29 of Gainesville, Va. is joining forces with Help PWC (Prince William County) Kids Pay for Lunch program, by donating $1 for every dinner entrée served between July 1 and Aug. 31, 2017. The European-Ethiopian fusion bistro bar was inspired to support the program after learning of the desperate need to help Prince William County families avoid being turned over to collections for school lunch debt. For information about Maaza 29, go to www.maaza29.com

“After I read the articles and learned that many PWC families who owe more than $50 in school lunch debt, would be turned over a collection agency, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of the solution,” said Emanuel Reta, owner of Maaza 29 of Gainesville, Va. “I encourage everyone to support Help PWC Kids Pay For Lunch, whether it’s going to the GoFundMe account, or stopping into Maaza 29, make a difference,” said Reta.
