From Fairfax County Park Authority:
Ossian Hall Park, a 22-acre community park in the Braddock District, has been transformed. No longer is the park a place where people were afraid to venture after dark or hesitant to spend time because of old playground equipment, thick, view-obscuring woods, and inaccessible trails. After two construction phases, the addition of new recreational amenities, including a paved plaza area and synthetic turn field, and millions of dollars, the park is welcoming and ready for the public. Officials will gather with members of the community at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010, to officially cut the ribbon and celebrate completion of this community project. Ossian Hall Park is located at 7900 Heritage Drive in Annandale, VA.
