Washington D.C.’s Largest and Oldest Greek Festival
Celebrates 51st Anniversary in Sept.

 The Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church festival celebrates their 51st annual festival, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 16, 17 and 18, 2011, from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday (rain or shine). The largest and oldest DC Greek Festival is located at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the corner of 16th and Upshur streets in Washington, D.C. Admission is FREE.

City Square Café of Old Town Manassas, Va. is featuring Taste of Spain, a four-course wine dinner, on Thurs., Sept. 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Traditional Spanish dishes will be paired with select wines from independent Spanish vineyards. Let's Dish! offers free meals for teachers

If you’re a teacher, you can get yourself and your family a free dinner at Let’s Dish! every Wednesday between Aug. 10 and Aug. 31.

Public, private, preschool, and college teachers and administrators are eligible for the do-it-yourself meals, says Yosha Wesley of the Let’s Dish! in the Pinecrest Shopping Center, 6550-G Little River Turnpike between Annandale and Alexandria (703/750-0790).

To take advantage of the free-meals-for-teachers offer, you’ll need to set up a Let’s Dish account and bring a school ID.
